VYAS Charity Popup Raises $1,148 for Youth Mental Health at Yaohan Centre

Updated: Oct 25, 2023

Vancouver, March 26, 2023 - This past weekend, VYAS Store made a heartwarming return to Yaohan Aberdeen Centre in Vancouver, hosting an inspiring charity event. The VYAS volunteers worked closely with the marketing team, raising a grand total of $1,148 over the day. This entire sum will be donated to the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) Youth Mental Health Project.

This gathering represented a caring community, drawing in people from all backgrounds. VYAS Store featured a captivating array of high-quality products at their charity stall, from handcrafted treasures and exquisite stationery to delightful tea sets. Volunteers took the time to share the touching stories behind each item, creating an inviting atmosphere that resonated with everyone.

The VYAS marketing team also played a crucial role in piquing interest through creative avenues, leveraging the power of social media, eye-catching posters, and good old word-of-mouth.

Once again, VYAS Store's charity kiosk underscored the strength of a united community and the profound impact of acts of kindness. This event not only allowed participants to experience the joy of giving but also conveyed a powerful message of love and compassion. In line with the event's motto, "Small Acts of Kindness, Great Acts of Love," we look forward to continuing our mission to bring warmth to every young soul in need, champion mental health through meaningful actions, and contribute to a more empathetic society in the days ahead.
